D. Jae Gold founded this firm in 1989. He specializes in all aspects of tax and accounting needs for the cultural industries. He is experienced in assisting in applications for film, TV and music grants and tax credits. Jae advises Canadian artists going to the U.S. on the most tax efficient business model to operate. He can assist in filing Central Withholding Agreements, as well as assisting foreign acts tour Canada in a tax efficient manner.
With many clients in the music industry, Jae enjoys presenting at seminars and mentoring session within the industry, including the University of Toronto, Canadian Music Week, NXNE, Directors Guild of Canada and Canada's Music Incubator. Jae is an expert in educating clients in understanding the cash flow challenges of their business and how to make a living in the music industry, even though the digital revolution has changed everything. He regularly represents the national entertainment industry sector of the Canadian economy at Bank of Canada finance meetings, providing updates on how the film, TV, comedy and music industries are doing.
Jae is a member of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Juno Awards), The Canadian Independent Music Association, Folk Music Ontario and Music Ontario. He also sits on the board for Humber College, Film TV and Comedy.

Michelle Gold specializes in business management for entertainment industry clients. A successful singer-songwriter, Michelle understands the entertainment industry and enjoys working with clients in developing their business ideas.
Michelle is a member of Songwriting Association of Canada, Nashville Songwriters Association International, The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada. She has volunteered at Canadian Music Week and is currently working on the development of the Canadian Music Museum.

Sondra Gold's focus is serving small business in the cultural industry in all aspects of bookkeeping and business management. She specializes in tax planning for individuals, as well as government audits and dissolutions.
Sondra takes the time to get to know clients as artists, supporting their creative endeavors, in addition to taking care of their tax dollars. Sondra studied accounting at York University and worked at a major accounting firm in Toronto before joining D. Jae Gold Entertainment Accountants. She is also a talented singer and musical theatre performer.
